Internal Communication

The Internal Communication team helps ensure the information provided to and communication with students and staff is clear.

Its staff advise, facilitate and support their colleagues in online and offline communication. They do so by, for example, writing, rewriting and translating web and other texts, advising on communication tools, maintaining the student and staff websites, and producing the weekly staff and monthly student newsletters for the whole university. The team works closely with SEA, the faculties, the Administration and Central Services directorates and more.

The team’s advisers are there to help with communication in various projects and programmes at the university and are responsible for implementing the associated communication plans.

Position within the university

The Internal Communication department is part of the Strategic Communication & Marketing directorate (SC&M), which in turn is part of the university’s Administration and Central Services department. Other SC&M departments are Alumni Affairs & Fundraising, Corporate Communication and Marketing.
