Communications and Marketing

The team Communications and Marketing is responsible for the Faculty's communications in the broadest sense of the term, both internal as well as external. The team supervises the social media channels of the Faculty, composes newsletters to staff, students, and alumni, aims to let new students enroll in the programme, and manages the Faculty webite and the research's blog.

When to contact Communications?

  • In case of news-worthy publications, grant conferments, and media appearances
  • For communications advice and general help with press contacts
  • For bringing events and activities under the attention of internal and external target audiences
  • For updating your personal profile page.
  • For contributing to the Faculty's research blog

Event organisation

The Communications department is responsible for the organisation of study information events for prospective students, as well as Faculty-wide events for staff and current students (for example the Faculty Lecture). We can also give you advice on how to organise your own (academic) event. Please contact Karien Wentink if you want to know more.

Faculty Drinks

Once a month, in the period when lectures are taking place, Study Association L.A.S. Terra organises Faculty Drinks. This will either coincide with the Faculty-wide event of that month, or take place on the third Thursday of that month. Please consult the internal Faculty agenda for more information.

Are you organising your own event and do you need the help of Study Association L.A.S. Terra? You may request their help up to one month before the event takes place. Please note that they may not be available due to conflicting schedules. Their help consists of assisting with setup, serving, cleanup, and promotion. They are not responsible for covering or arranging the drinks themselves. Send an email to bestuurlasterra@gmail.com for more information.
