Awards and nominations

Award nominations and memberships of organisations – including academic organisations – are important for researchers, lecturers and students. They are seen as forms of recognition and appreciation for their work. For the award winners, it is of course a great honour and a boost.
Awards and memberships can help when it comes to securing external research funding. They raise the visibility of both staff and Leiden Law School and are important for valorisation – creating value from our knowledge – and the impact of our research and education.
