Awards and nominations
Being nominated for an award or membership of an organisation, including scientific organisations, is important for researchers, lecturers and students. It is seen as recognition of their work. Actually being awarded a prize is, of course, a great honour and a boost.
Awards and memberships can help in securing external research funding. They raise the visibility of staff as well as Leiden Law School and are important when it comes to research valorisation – creating value from our knowledge – and the impact of our research and education.
