Responsibility of the department

The Business Service Center houses various specialisms to support the departments within ASSC. The Business Service Center focusses on fulfilling supporting, specialist roles that contribute to efficient and effective business operations.

What does the department do?

The Business Service Centre consists of specialists and management support. Within the Business Service Centre, you can find the following specialisms:

  • Customer Relations
  • Data Specialist
  • Business Controller
  • Business Analist
  • Management Assistent
  • AO/IC Specialist

Teams

Customer Relations advises and thinks along with the various departments and the management of the ASSC about customer-oriented working and communication. Customer Relations often works on a project basis, both within and outside the ASSC. This includes activities such as:

  • Prepare and send newsletters
  • Create product and service catalogue
  • Create customer profiles
  • Communication advice
  • Support and advise management on organizational and strategy issues

Position at the university

The Business Service Centre falls under the Administrative Shared Service Centre (ASSC) and works closely with the departments within the ASSC (Servicedesk, Financial Administration, HR Administration, Functional Management, Archive management), the web editors and the policy departments of HRM and Finance.
