External relations

For external partners, collaboration with Leiden Law School offers a unique opportunity to jointly develop knowledge, address societal issues and support talented future legal scholars and professionals. The faculty has a rich academic tradition, a dynamic research climate and a network of professionals working on both national and international issues.

Collaboration can take various forms. For example joint research projects, guest lectures, internships or developing tailor-made programmes for legal practice – all offering plenty of opportunities to create synergy. The value of a collaboration is enhanced through the combination of the faculty's academic strength and the practical experience that external partners can bring to the table. By working together on real-life cases, students can not only apply their theoretical knowledge, but also learn to approach current legal issues from various angles. This offers opportunities to discover innovative solutions that benefit both the academic community and society as a whole.

Leiden Law School is also an inspiring environment for external partners to share knowledge and learn from current developments in the legal sector. By collaborating with talented students, lecturers and researchers, external parties can enrich their own vision while contributing to the academic community.

In addition to the above opportunities, Leiden Law School offers in-company and postgraduate training courses organised by our own Leiden Law Academy.

Alumni

Leiden University is very proud of its alumni. They contribute to the growth and prosperity of our university in many ways. We would like to contribute to the development of our alumni even after graduation. 

Alumni, in turn, contribute to the development of our current students. They tell us about their careers, are available for the Mentor Network in which they help students with career choices, or talk about their work experience in a vlog.
