Nominations Faculty Council 2025

On 8 and 9 April 2025 until 16:00 hrs. candidates may be nominated for a position in the Faculty Council. Staff and students of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs can send the fully completed application form to the polling station of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs at stembureau@fgga.leidenuniv.nl. The e-mail must be sent from a uMail or ULCN account. Elections will take place from 12 to 15 May 2025.

Language (support)

The administrative language within Leiden University is Dutch. This means that meeting documents are written in Dutch and the language used in meetings is Dutch as well. Therefore, active participation in the faculty council requires at least a passive knowledge (listening and reading) of the Dutch language at B1 level at the start of faculty council membership on 1 September 2025. In the meetings, you may as a member of the Faculty Council speak English. A language buddy or Dutch language course can be offered.
