Internal and external communication
The communication advisers and editors advise and facilitate Leiden Law School in telling its narrative.
We create content including news articles, announcements, event items and newsletters for staff and students. We also manage the faculty’s social media, Leiden Law Blog, the website, as well as the screens in the restaurant and entrance hall. We advise on communication strategy, science communication, communication related to educational innovation and organisational changes.
What can we help you with?
- Editing, advice and planning related to communication
- Announcements and communication related to faculty events
- Advice on communication related to research, organisation and education
- Writing editorial content, articles, event items and social media content
- Creating faculty newsletters (for staff and students)
- Managing and developing channel strategies and new communication channels
How do we work?
- Requests can be sent to our mailbox: communicatie@law.leidenuniv.nl.
- Our editorial team works with a content planner that is updated on a daily basis. This determines when we will communicate and which channels will be used. Ongoing requests are discussed once a week at our editorial team meeting.
- We are proactive in the development of editorial and communication resources based on our annual calendar, but we also consult our functional mailbox and respond to requests from the whole faculty.
- The M&C team works in close cooperation and also with other support departments and the faculty institutes. We can therefore also advise on who to contact for certain matters.
