It can happen that a colleague passes away or loses a loved one, such as a child, parent or partner. The protocol for dealing with grief sets out the options available to supervisors and colleagues if that should happen. Parts of this protocol may also be useful if an employee has suffered a traumatic experience, such as divorce or serious violence. In this protocol you will find a clear set of guidelines on how to act when confronted with grief, sadness or loss.
